Describe a real moment in your life that felt like the beginning of a powerful story. Tell what happened, and why it felt like a turning point in your life?

Prompt Response: A moment that felt like the beginning of a powerful story was my 16th birthday. About a week before school started, we had a small gathering at the school playground area near my house. My aunts, uncles, and cousins came, and both of my best friends were there. It wasn't a large celebration, but after I ate and played games with my family a bit, my friends and Iwalked around and took some pictures. We were just hanging out and goofing around till it got dark, and to anyone else it would've been a regular get together. But to me, it was ethereal. I was just enjoying my time with my best friends, looking at our junior year ahead of us.

Summary: Today, we continued writing our body paragraphs for our rhetorical analysis of MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech

Reflection: We switched to writable for the work, which slightly helped because I had the speech right next to my writing
